The two-week wait (TWW) requires sensitivity, clarity, and dependable testing. Our ultra-sensitive pregnancy test strips detect the hCG hormone (human chorionic gonadotropin) from as low as 10 mIU/mL, allowing early detection up to 6 days before your missed period.
A practical, cost-effective strip format—ideal for tracking line progression without the high cost of conventional drugstore tests.
How to interpret:
1. What is the difference between a 10 mIU/mL and a 25 mIU/mL test?
The mIU/mL unit measures analytical sensitivity: the lower the number, the more sensitive the test. A 10 mIU/mL test detects smaller amounts of hCG in early pregnancy, enabling a positive result days earlier than a standard 25 mIU/mL test.
2. Does a very faint or barely visible line count as a positive?
Yes. In the presence of hCG, the strip reacts chemically. As long as the test line (T) has visible color pigment and appeared within the reading window (3 to 5 minutes), it indicates a positive result. Test again 48 hours later with first-morning urine to confirm hCG progression.
3. What is an evaporation line?
An evaporation line is a faint, colorless, or grayish mark that can appear in the test area after the urine dries completely (after the recommended 10-minute window). It should not be interpreted as a positive. Always adhere to the designated reading time.
4. From which DPO (day post-ovulation) can I start testing?
Although the test detects hCG from 10 mIU/mL, embryo implantation typically occurs between 6 and 10 DPO, and hCG takes approximately 2 days to filter into urine. Testing from 9 or 10 DPO offers a realistic probability for early detection while minimizing false-negative results.
5. I took hCG medication (e.g., trigger shot / Ovitrelle). Can this cause a false positive?
Yes. Medications administered to induce ovulation that contain hCG can stay in your system for up to 10 to 14 days after injection. Testing within that window can detect residual medication rather than a viable pregnancy.
